適用范圍：This standard covers digital systems hardware for Class 1 and Class 2 systems as derived from the safety categories of the realized functions according to DIN IEC 61513 (VDE 0491-2). This also includes multiprocessor distributed systems and single processor systems; it covers the assessment and use of pre-developed items, for example, commercial off-the-shelf items (COTS), and the development of new hardware. If new design techniques are developed then it should be possible to assess the suitability of such techniques by adapting and applying the design principles contained within this standard.
