適用范圍：These recommendations concern rules for judging the con-dition of insulating oil contained in transformers and are in-tended as a supplement to SEN 14-02 which concerns the con-dition of the oil as delivered.Once the oil has been poured into a transformer its condition will have undergone a slight change and with time a gradual deterioration takes place which ultiinately renders the oil unsuit-able for its purpose. Because of high cost of the oil and the tians-former itself it is important, on the one hand, that the oil should not be changed unnecessarily, and on the other that it should be renewed in sufficiently good time to obviate any danger to Ihe transfonner. The serviceable life of both the oil and the trans-former inay be materially prolonged by employing a system of checking and rational maintenance.
