適用范圍：This British Standard gives recommendations for the protection against fire ofelectronic equipment installations, including the equipment (e.g. computers,servers and systems for communications, design, manufacturing anddistribution), and the areas containing such equipment (e.g. computer rooms,internet hosting centres, switching centres and data centres).It also gives recommendations for the protection against fire in adjacent areas.This British Standard covers electronic equipment installations categorized asmedium, high and critical risk.Low risk environments are not addressed in this standard. The standard mayhowever be used as guidance for the protection of such environments.The standard is applicable to new installations; the recommendations mayhowever be used with an existing installation, and when alterations are made toexisting areas containing electronic equipment.
