適用范圍：1.1 This standard specifies the safety requirements and measures to be adopted by persons undertaking thedesign, construction and supply (including installation, setting–up, maintenance, and repair) of machineswhose primary intended use is for sawing cold metal (ferrous and non-ferrous), or material partly of cold metal,by means of a saw blade.1.2 This standard takes into account the intended use, reasonably foreseeable misuse, machine setting andblade fitting, maintenance and cleaning, and their effects on the safety of operators and other exposedpersons. It presumes access to the machine from all directions at floor level and addresses both normaloperation and unexpected or unintended starting.1.3 This standard applies to the ancillary devices which form an integral part of the machine. Where suchdevices are not an integral part of the machine, the designer, manufacturer or supplier of the installationshould take into account their intended use, and should make provision for the safe linking of such deviceswith the machine.1.4 This standard applies to (metal) sawing machines which are manufactured after the date of publication byCEN of this standard.
