適用范圍：1.1 This standard prescribes various methods of testing the corrosion preventing efficacy of temporary corrosion preventives under set corrosive conditions to determine whether a desired standard of quality is achieved.1.2 The test shall be carried out on the following:a) Standard test specimens, as defined in Appendix A, coated with a protective scheme under actual production conditions.b) Actual articles, which are small enough to be exposed inside the testing chambers or apparatus.1.3 An indication of the types of protectives, to which the tests may be applied is given in Appendix B. The use of the tests for any particular purpose and the standard of performance required for such purpose are left to the discretion of those wishing to apply the standard.1.4 For certain uses, the ability of a protective to prevent corrosion, when in the damaged condition is important. Provision is made, therefore, for the test specimen to be subjected, if desired, to a standard form of damage, before they undergo test.
