It does not describe the LCA tech-nique in detail, nor does it specify methodologiesfor the individual phases of the LCA.The intended application of LCA or LCI results isconsidered during the goal and scope definition, butthe application itself is outside the scope of this In-ternational Standard.This International Standard is not intended for con-tractual or regulatory purposes or registration andcertification.
