適用范圍：1.1 Scope - This part of this Kenya Standard applies to fuses inco-porating enclosed fuse-links with rated breaking capacities of not less than 2 kA, intended for protecting power-frequency a.c. circuits of rated voltages not exceeding 1 bOO V.NOTES: 1. For back-up fuse-links, details of performance on d.c. circuits shall be subject to a special agreement.2. Modification of, and supplement to, this standard required for certain types of fuses for particular applications - for example, certain fuses for rolling stock, or fuses for high-frequency circuits -will be covered, if necessary, by further specialized parts.Combinations of fuses with mechanical switching devices are not dealt with in this standard. Fuse-links intended to be included in such combinations shall nevertheless comply with the requirements of this standard.NOTE: This standard does not apply to miniature fuses. These will be covered by a separate standard.1.2 Object - The object of this standard is to establish the characteristics of fuses or parts of fuses (fuse-base, fuse-carrier, fuse-link) in such a way that they can be replaced by other fuses or parts of fuses having the same characteristics provided that their dimensions are identical. For this purpose, it presents in particular:1.2.1 The characteristics of fuses with reference to:(a) Their rated values;(.?>) their insulation;lc?) their temperature rises in normal service;i.d) their power loss;(e) their time current characteristics;2 (/) their cut-off characteristics and tfieir J t characteristics;
